It’s eclipse season. It’s Aries season. It’s Spring (in the northern hemisphere). Many of us are being initiated into new directions, embarking on a completely new chapter of life. Change is in the air.
During the Winter, I was restless. I was uncomfortable with the stillness and the feeling that nothing was happening. It amazes me how the mind is never satisfied. When everything is too quiet, we yearn to be busy and fill the space. When there is a lot going on, we wish for emptiness again. I sense both the excitement and anticipatory feeling of all the change about to take place. At the same time, it’s overwhelming. I likely won’t have a period of nothingness again until well into the Summer (perhaps even fall). I say this as a reminder to enjoy whatever personal season you are in — it will eventually change on it’s own accord.
The nodes of the moon have been in the gates of shock (51) and intuition (57) since January. In Human Design, the nodes represent the environment and how we perceive our environment. Personally, I’ve been experiencing a heightened fear of tomorrow. I have had a few sleepless nights, voice notes sent to my friend at 3am in a panic because I feel afraid of the unknown. Will I have enough money? Will I be able to survive and support myself? As someone with a completely open spleen, fear is something I am here to learn about in this life. It’s something I can potentially develop wisdom in, only when I confront each fear as they arise in my deconditioning process. I talk a lot about money, because let’s be real — it’s one of the deepest conditioning hooks we have in our minds. Five years into my experiment, there are still more layers to be unpacked (we’re getting there).
This nodal transit is a taste of the upcoming background frequency post 2027. Adapting to shock and uncertainty, the fear of survival and tomorrow, are going to become even more pronounced. We can already see how this frequency has manifested over the last several years. Since the pandemic, we all realized there are no more promises of security if you follow “the rules”. This new era will only serve those grounded in their individual survival.
It’s interesting how pertinent the fear of tomorrow feels to me currently, because in reality, it’s been there all along. The future has always been uncertain. Tomorrow was never guaranteed. We can never know for sure what unexpected challenges it will bring. This is why 51 and 57 are opposite each other in the wheel: shock and intuition go hand-in-hand. You need to be intuitive to survive the shock. Simultaneously, your intuitive knowing might be shocking to yourself.
So how do we prepare for tomorrow when there is no promise of what it will bring? We listen to our intuition in the now. That’s all you can rely on. Survival is a moment-by-moment instantaneous response to the environment. This is what keeps you alive. Notice how in truly life threatening situations, when there is an immediate danger present — the body responds before the mind. The body instinctually knows how to react to survive in the moment.
Thus, the fear of the Spleen is not mentaI. It is not the same as anxiety — it does not ruminate on the past or contemplate the future. It operates existentially in the now. Intuition is sharp; it’s cool, crisp, clear, and powerful. Fear is at the root of intelligence of all life forms — it’s our oldest awareness center. If you are alive in this moment, if you are healthy in this moment, if you are safe in this moment, you have everything you need to survive.
Strategy and authority — or insert whatever better name you have for your body’s innate intelligence — is the strategy for survival. It deals with making decisions based on your current life circumstances, what is already showing up on your trajectory. This is how we make intelligent decisions — based in the reality of the present, not in the potentials we can’t predict.
That’s where trust comes in. But don’t place this trust in Human Design, or any other system or modality for that matter. Place this trust within yourself. Place this trust in the understanding that even if the “worst” possible outcome eventuates, you’ll deal with it. You’ll handle it. And you’ll adapt.
If there were no tomorrow, how would you live today? Would you still feel afraid if tomorrow ceased to exist? This is what the 57th gate teaches us: “the extraordinary power of clarity.” Clarity, which only exists in the now. The fear of tomorrow might never be eliminated completely — but it can be alleviated when you live intuitively in the present. That is all we have.
Until next time,
Chiara <3

I regret to inform you I have started a podcast. Oh dear! More content! The Projector Podcast is a podcast for Projectors, by Projectors, (and for those interested in Projectors!) hosted by myself and Jenn Cole. You can listen to our first episode here.
We also set up a Patreon for those who want access to the video version, bonus episodes, and the opportunity to have your chart roasted on air. Yes, you read that right.
You can purchase the recording of our Back to 2027 Class here (*buy it on your desktop to save yourself a 30% fee on the app). We discussed topics ranging from Late Stage Capitalism, the housing market, financial and job security, tax resistance, and living as yourself in a world where the bargain of support continues to disintegrate.
Beautiful art in the form of writing ! I feel your intuition is always spot on about the topics, as I find myself in the exact positions you always wrote about. Never have your voice be silenced your words are needed !
