When I read things, I almost always have to say something in response… it’s just how I am lol.

Interesting thoughts and well said!

I think perspective (itself) is a big factor in this sort of thing… everything is actually all about perspective. To grow is to learn, to grow is to have a changing perspective of life… and when growing, what we value and what we consider as “important” also changes. Life is like one learning curve after another lol, well… technically not for everyone, most people don’t learn anything 🤣 but you get what I mean.

A lot of people give themselves a purpose because it helps to make them feel whole or better (or something)… a self-created purpose.

As you mentioned, we do have the luxury of not having to literally fight for our survival as does the rest of nature (at this current time on the time-line 🤣 … which might change in the near future).

A sense of purpose, or accomplishment may be somewhat natural… although I like to try to keep it simple, as does all of nature lol

lmao yet again I find myself relating heavily to your post. The obsession with personality tests at a young age... and I literally had this convo with a friend a few days ago - how I never understood feeling like an 'old soul', and if anything, I'm a brand new one haha. Never feeling a sense of having a "mission". Feeling itchy when I lock myself into a certain path for a bit.

This makes me think of the Disney movie, "Soul".

I like what you said about how "This IS the path". Documenting your experiences is the path!

Oh, but this stirs up something in me. If my purpose is experiential as well, then that means I have a responsibility to experience more things. Oohhh shit.

Maybe your purpose is being a “taster” and “adventurer” !! What I have noticed in humans is a split like you described above ~ either people have that singular knowing and they have that 1 purpose they came here to fulfill (or 2-3) and then the other half of people are always trying on new hats and gathering data! But to me I see that as having “adventure” as your actual purpose. Like always throwing yourself into new work environments, new home environments, new friends, new food, new looks - and like that is your actual purpose. According to your HD what does it say about you? Or what is your cross of (umm omg I forget the name). I am curious what your HD chart would read for this? We know not to use that as a definitive thing anymore lol but I am curious 🧐 - mine was legit all about being of service 😹 like EVERYTHING in my chart was like “you’re here to serve your corner of the universe”. Zach (my fiance) his entire purpose is adventuring//traveling. and just a random bit - it’s so funny to me because I literally draw in so many baby deers into my life!!!!! i love that energy so much 🥲🥹

Oooooo I really this, cause like everything im drawn to always has this sense of adventure and freedom, no matter what the medium is. Like after I graduated university - I could’ve just got a regular graduate job, but nothing in me was drawn to that, at that time. I always feel like there has to be a sense of excitement or edge 😆 in HD - I’m a 3/5 which is classic adventurer / change / life pivoter hahahahah my cross though is about “planning” which I believe is more about community, skills etc… totally can still be useful if looked at objectively and without too much depth 😂

Omg Zach is a 3/5 toooooo hehe. Yes what if you just claimed *adventure* AS your purpose 😻 maybe it will move you in new ways as well! I think titles can be so powerful!! So exciting 🌈

Wild how that works!! Always happens to me too, coming across something I was just thinking or contemplating 👀

They were talking about purpose in ancient Greece too, presumably when survival was all consuming..it has nothing to do with luxury.
